Greetings, Blue Water Mariners, The Thursday edition of the Tropical Marine Weather Briefing is now available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePA-u7CpAkU&list=PLI8zHB9LDq0DeOEkulkugTPLr3czha0Q_ Summary for the Next 5-Days: -A strong late-season cold front is expected to move into the NW Gulf Friday evening or early Friday night, move across the basin through Sunday morning, and then stall over the southeastern Gulf Monday. -Fresh to strong northwest to north winds will follow the front, with winds reaching gale-force offshore Tampico and Veracruz on Saturday, and continuing through Saturday night near Veracruz. -Seas are forecast to build to around 13 ft in the area of strongest winds through the weekend. -Weather conditions will improve across all basins beginning next week, except for the south-central Caribbean, where fresh winds will prevail.
