Remnants of Dolly impacts NE Caribbean

The remnants of former Tropical Storm Dolly are bringing heavy rainfall and active weather to the northeast Caribbean as the strong tropical wave moves west-northwest at around 20 knots.

Impacted Areas: Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the northern Leeward Islands.
Marine Conditions: Fresh to locally near-gale winds with seas of 8–12 feet between 18N–22N and 60W–65W.
Hazards: Locally heavy rains and gusty winds over the next couple of days, with rainfall totals varying significantly based on local island topography.
Development Outlook: The system currently lacks a closed surface circulation, and redevelopment is unlikely over the next 1–2 days. However, conditions may become more favorable for gradual redevelopment by mid-week as it reaches the southeastern Gulf, carrying a low chance of tropical formation through 7 days.
