Summary:

• Winds below 34 kt will prevail through the forecast period.
o However, there is a low chance of tropical cyclone formation over the next 48 hours and through the next 7 days.
• No very large swells are expected; seas will remain below 12 ft.
• High pressure will build southward from the eastern U.S. in the wake of a cold front on Tuesday.
o The cold front will move over the western Atlantic on Tuesday, followed by fresh to strong winds and seas building up to 8 ft.
o Northeast winds will increase over the northern Gulf on Wednesday to fresh to strong speeds, with seas building to around 9 ft.
o Conditions will improve Thursday night into Friday across both basins.
