Legacy Harbour Marina REOPENS, Okeechobee Waterway Statute Mile 135.5
Great news for the cruising community. One of my personal favorite marinas is open again four years after being destroyed by Hurricane Ian in September 2022. Legacy Harbour was a longtime CRUISERS NET SPONSOR, and we look forward to their new 131 slip marina featuring Bellingham’s wave attenuator and dock systems. Construction is expected to be completed in Spring 2026.

Nearly four years after Hurricane Ian, our rebuilt docks are once again welcoming boaters to the Fort Myers waterfront. With 131 wet slips for vessels from 40 to 140 feet, upgraded infrastructure and enhanced amenities, we’re ready for what’s ahead.
WINK News hit the docks as some of our first boaters arrived and spoke with harbourmaster Eric Ravenschlag about the rebuild and what it means to welcome the boating community back.
The docks are ready. The boats are arriving. And we’re just getting started.
