[EXPIRED] Temporary Lack of Transient Dockage at Panama City Municipal Marina
The message below is from the Panama City municipal dockmaster. As many cruisers, including yours truly, often depend on the Panama City Municipal Marina, hard by the downtown Panama City business district, for transient dockage when cruising through this section of the Florida Panhandle, it's really a good thing to have advance notice that, at least unitl late February or early March, we probably need to look elsewhere for visitor berths!
I wanted to let people passing through Panama City know that we are doing repairs on gutters on our covered slips plus replacing roofs blown off last year in a Spring storm. Because of this we are having to use our guest slips for our regular tenants & our ability to host transient boats is extremely limited. We are not taking reservations in advance & are only taking transient boats on a space available determined on a daily basis. We are referring people to Sun Harbor & our sister marina, St Andrews. The work should be completed in late Feb to early March.
