[EXPIRED] Easy Green Beans with Bacon and Caramelized Onions
Summer for us Michiganders is coming to a close. Visions of boats being hauled out of the harbor one by one will become reality this month. I envy the boaters in the south, but also look forward to fall and to start making the comfort foods again.
To go with the flow of the fresh vegetables that are in abundance this time of year, I whipped up a super tasting fresh green beans with bacon and caramelized onions to go with just about anything. You will be amazed how easy they are to make and your taste buds will love every bite Now I know bacon is fattening, so maybe cut it down to 3 or 4 slices to make sure the beans get the flavor married into them. As for leftovers, if you have any, they get only better and better. Just microwave them for a minute or so.
Please let me know what you think of this and any other recipes of mine. Write to me at my website www.sandiesgalley.com or at sandiesgalley@gmail.com. Until next months creation, enjoy!
