      FEMA to Provide Assistance to Residents Affected by Hurricane Helene at the Gulfport Public Library

      The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be offering direct assistance to residents impacted by Hurricane Helene from Saturday, October 5, through Friday, October 11, 2024. FEMA staff will be available daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Gulfport Public Library, located at 5501 28th Ave S., Gulfport, FL 33707.

      This initiative is aimed at helping residents affected by the hurricane navigate the disaster assistance application process. FEMA representatives will be on site to provide personalized support in completing paperwork and applications, as well as explain the various federal disaster programs available.

      Residents are encouraged to utilize this opportunity to receive one-on-one guidance and understand the resources available to support recovery efforts in the wake of the disaster.
