Georgetown, A SALTY SOUTHEAST CRUISERS’ NET SPONSOR, is fighting bravely to recover from a fire that destroyed the most active part of Georgetown’s waterfront tourist trade, taking restaurants, shops, bars and homes. Georgetown businesses hanging on one year after fire that destroyed historic Front Street

Georgetown’s historic waterfront fire last September tore through seven buildings on Front Street, ripping apart nine businesses and the lives of those who lived above their shops.
One year later, seven of those businesses have reopened.
