Foul Weather Shelter: Very good
Dinghy Dock Access: a long dinghy ride first to the east and then northeast on Roanoke River can bring you to a set of shallow, public docks behind the Port O’ Plymouth Museum (at the northern end of the town waterfront). Here you can tie up your dinghy and easily walk to the downtown historic/business district. You can dine at the Garden Spot Cafe (124 W. Water St., 252) 793-3600) and take a historic walking tour
Nearby Provisioning: Unfortunately, for real provisioning, you will have to hike a mile to the south, to Highway 64, where you will find super markets and drug stores
Pet Friendly:pets can be walked in a public park behind the dinghy docks described above
