FLORIDA – INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY – SAINT SIMONS SOUND TO TOLOMATO RIVER – PALM COVE MARINA: Dredging Operations.
Branch Diversified will be conducting dredging operations at the Palm Cove Marina and Castaway Island Kayak Channel. A hopper barge will be spudded down (an swapped periodically) measuring 110 feet by 32 feet or 225 feet by 35 feet (depending on which hopper is placed at that time) in approximate position, 30-17-34.1N/081-25-41.1W (30°17.5684N / 081°25.6850W, 30.292806 / -81.428083) . There will also be 3 can buoys deployed at the location. Vessels on site can be contacted on VHF channel 16. The estimated completion date of the project is approximately January 1, 2023.
