FLORIDA – ST. JOHNS RIVER: NAS Airshow Safety Zone
The following area is a safety zone: All waters of the St. John’s River, from surface to bottom, encompassed by a line connecting the following points beginning at
30-14-16.5N / 081-39-44.01W (30°14.2750N / 081°39.7335W, 30.237917 / -81.662225), thence east to
30-14-16.5N / 081-39-27.9W (30°14.2750N / 081°39.4650W, 30.237917 / -81.657750), then continue east to
30-14-16.5N / 081-38-23.1W (30°14.2750N / 081°38.3850W, 30.237917 / -81.639750), thence south to
30-13-24.9N / 081-38-30W (30°13.4150N / 081°38.5000W, 30.223583 / -81.641667), thence west to
30-13-24.9N / 081-39-32.7W (30°13.4150N / 081°39.5450W, 30.223583 / -81.659083), and finally continue northwest to
30-13-48.82N / 081-39-45.97W (30°13.8137N / 081°39.7661W, 30.230228 / -81.662769) .
This rule is effective from October 18, 2024, through October 20, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The duration of the zone is intended to protect personnel and spectators in these navigable waters before, during, and after the air show. No vessel or person will be permitted to enter the safety zone without obtaining permission from the Captain of the Port (COTP) or a designated representative. For further information contact:
