FL – GULF OF MEXICO – U.S. Navy Operation
Commencing October 15, 2024 and continuing through October 20, 2024, the U.S. Navy will be conducting surface and unmanned aircraft system testing operations in the Gulf of Mexico, in an area bound by the following approximate positions:
29-42-00N 086-48-00W (29°42.0000N / 086°48.0000W, 29.700000 / -86.800000),
29-22-40N 085-30-01W (29°22.6667N / 085°30.0167W, 29.377778 / -85.500278),
28-30-15N 086-48-00W (28°30.2500N / 086°48.0000W, 28.504167 / -86.800000) and
28-07-00N 085-12-13W (28°7.0000N / 085°12.2167W, 28.116667 / -85.203611) .
Operations will be conducted 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. On-scene vessels will include the FSF-1 SEA FIGHTER and a 262 ft Littoral Combat Ship. Vessels will monitor VHF-FM Channel 16.
