Off the northwest tip of Conch Island, this destroyed light is on the south/southeast shoulder of the Waterway as it makes a 90 deg turn in the intersection with St. Augustine Inlet.
FLORIDA – AICW – TOLOMATO RIVER – PALM SHORES – MATANZAS RIVER: Hazard to Navigation
Matanzas River Light 1 (LLNR 39035) destroyed. The remains of the wreckage poses a hazard to navigation. A TRLB WR1 displaying Fl Q G characteristics has been set approximately 4.6 yards in approximate position 29-54-19.282N/081-17-44.060W (29°54.3214N / 081°17.7343W, 29.905356 / -81.295572) .
