| Gulfport Community Update: November 10 – 16, 2024 On Wednesday morning, the Gulfport Public Works Department brought a Recycling Truck to the Tot Time/VPK Program for an engaging presentation. The Public Works Crew Leader introduced the preschoolers to the truck’s many levers and buttons, showing how each one helps the recycling truck operate. Eight excited children, along with their two teachers, enjoyed this hands-on learning experience. |

Tuesday, November 19th at 12 p.m. – Figure Drawing for All Skill Levels – Adult Workshop: Whether you are a beginner or more experienced, practice drawing the human figure from life in timed increments. Friday, November 22nd at 5 p.m. – Silly Face Framed Portraits – Kids Workshop: Create a silly face collage and then decorate a frame for it! |

| | Gulfport Community Players Present – “Geezers” Friday – Sunday,November 15 – 24, 2024 Fri-Sat at 8 PM Sat & Sun at 2PM Catherine Hickman Theater, 5501 27th Ave. S. A funny and moving story by Tommy Lee Johnston, that introduces us to some wonderful old people enjoying their golden years in a retirement home. Jack, a shy, 27-year-old, begins a job there helping the seniors with their daily needs. But it’s the “geezers” who wind up helping Jack. |

| | 2024 Gulfport Yacht Club Series Regattas Saturday, November 16th | 1 – 6:30 p.m. Gulfport Yacht Club, 4638 Del Rio Way S. Club races (weather permitting) on the First and Third Saturday of the month on Boca Ciega Bay. Any DP-N rated boat up to 25 feet is welcome and we have a strong beach multihull presence (A-cat, Formula 18, Formula 16, Hobie 16, Weta etc.). Registration: Simply show up on a race day and sign in. Guests wishing to race their boats will pay $10.00 per boat and must have proof of liability insurance. After racing we hang out enjoying conversations and food at our club house. |
