    • Palmetto Park Jam March 8 at Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park! Concert in the park featuring The Reckoning

      Cooper River Marina

The Reckoning returns to Palmetto Park Jam on March 8

[MOUNT PLEASANT] – Palmetto Islands County Park will once again host The Reckoning for a concert in the park this March! Experience the magic of the Grateful Dead as the tribute band returns to headline Palmetto Park Jam on Saturday March 8.

Held in a family-friendly festival atmosphere in Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park, the event will also feature food trucks and craft vendors. Gates open at 11 a.m. The Green Thieves Duo will perform starting at 12 p.m., and The Reckoning will take the stage from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Based in Charleston, The Reckoning offers a fresh new approach to the seemingly infinite library of songs and soundscapes by The Grateful Dead, celebrating the band’s entire catalogue of material.

Concert admission will be charged per vehicle, so groups of guests should arrive together in the same vehicle. Standard sized vehicles of up to 15 people will be $20 per vehicle in advance, or $30 per vehicle at the gate, if available. Gold Pass holders will receive free admission at the gate (one vehicle of up to 15 people per Gold Pass presented on site; no ticket required). Parking is limited at Palmetto Islands County Park, so a limited number of tickets will be sold and the event could sell out in advance. Purchasing tickets in advance at CharlestonCountyParks.com (direct link) is highly recommended.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to the event. Outside food, alcohol and coolers are prohibited at Palmetto Park Jam. Dogs are welcome, but must remain leashed.

Palmetto Islands County Park will be closed to non-concert goers during the day on Saturday, March 8, reopening to the public at 4:30 p.m.

For more information or to purchase tickets to the Palmetto Park Jam, call 843-795-4386 or visit www.CharlestonCountyParks.com (direct link). This event is presented by Crews Subaru and and your Charleston County Parks.
