Spring is here!

The sun is shining, gardens are blooming, and we are gearing up for an exciting month here in Chowan County.

With the arrival of the Easter Bunny, Edenton is hosting several fun events in April. So, if you are thinking about stopping by, why not stay at one of our world-class B&Bs or spend a few days exploring our one-of-a-kind history. April is a great time to do it!

This month, I’d like to highlight three items.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 8th, 8:00 – 10:00 AM

You won’t want to miss out on a hot pancake breakfast with the Easter Bunny! This event is fun (and yummy) for the whole family. Join us at the Historic Edenton State Historic Site (108 N. Broad St., Edenton) for this community event to welcome spring and the Easter Bunny to Edenton. Reserve your tickets in advance.

Edenton Pilgrimage of Historic Homes April 14 – 15th, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Presented by the Edenton Woman’s Club, this biennial event is one of Edenton’s most anticipated and popular tours of historic homes and gardens.

The Rocky Hock Opry Spring Concert on Saturday, April 22nd at 7:00 PM

Join with the community for a lively spring sing-along at its best! Showcasing the talents of local musicians, you won’t want to miss this special concert.
