St. Lucie Inlet intersects the Waterway and the eastern genesis of the Okeechobee Waterway near Stuart, FL at AICW Statute Mile 987. The repositioning described below refers to buoys in the Inlet, not the Waterway.

FLORIDA-PALM SHORES TO WEST PALM BEACH-ST LUCIE INLET: Repositioning Buoys.
During the week of 29 April through 03 May, 2013 the Coast Guard will be repositioning buoys in the St Lucie Inlet to best mark the channel. Mariners are requested to transit the area with extreme caution and are reminded that passage through the inlet is not recommended without local knowledge of all hazardous conditions affecting this area.
