      Triumph Reef and its missing aid to navigation, described below in this article cherry picked from the latest Local Notice to Mariners, lines the eastern flank of Hawk Channel, east of Elliott Key. NOTE THE SEVERE HAZARD DESIGNATION of the update!

      STRAITS OF FLORIDA-FOWEY ROCKS TO ALLIGATOR REEF: Hazard to Navigation.
      Triumph Reef Light 2TR (LLNR 930) is destroyed. The Temporary Lighted Buoy that was marking the destroyed aid is missing. Mariners are advised to use extreme caution while transiting the area.

      STRAITS OF FLORIDA-FOWEY ROCKS TO ALLIGATOR REEF: Hazard to Navigation (UPDATE: December 17, 2012).
      Triumph Reef Light 2TR (LLNR 930) is destroyed. A TRLB “WR2TR” showing Fl Q R has been set marking the the remains of the aid. Multiple steel pilings remain above and below waters surface. Mariners are advised the area is considered a severe hazard to navigation. Charts: 411 11013 11450 11451 11460 11462 11463 11465
