The safety zone resulting from a crack discovered in this 2007 65ft fixed bridge has been lifted. Our thanks to Janet Zimmerman for this update (see comment) and to Phil Decker for the original notice.
The Roosevelt Bridge in Stuart, Florida, is “at risk of an imminent collapse. This is on the Okeechobee Waterway, near the intersection with the ICW. They are saying “commercial” traffic is stopped. No word on recreational boats.

#UPDATE the @USCG has lifted the #safetyzone that restricted vessel traffic near the Roosevelt Bridge.
@MyFDOT discovered the structural issue only effects vehicle traffic & doesnâ€™t effect maritime traffic.
