Hello, One of Edenton’s beloved traditions is The Pilgrimage Tour of Historic Private Homes & Sites, a biennial event that highlights Edenton’s unique history and natural springtime beauty. Tickets for this year’s tour are already on sale! Due to popular demand, you should secure your tickets now so you won’t miss this two-day event. One of the highlights on this year’s tour is the grand Wessington House, a three-story antebellum home built in 1850 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You will get exclusive access to nineteen historic properties and seven historic sites during the Pilgrimage. Docents, dressed in historical attire, will be on-hand to answer questions and relate important details about each property and its history.
