[EXPIRED]Little Bird Sailing Challenge 2018
All of you who have voyaged, maybe learned to sail, in a small sailboat will enjoy and appreciate these videos. (My first “sailing voyage” was in a 10ft modified Blue Jay!) Part 1 is presented today, but stay tuned for later editions. Our thanks to St. Augustine Cruisers Net for posting these videos and to Kourtney Patterson for sharing.
Every year, usually the first cold front of January, my boyfriend Pete and I take our 12′ sprit rigged sailboat (Pete built for his daughter Ava) named “Little Bird” down the intracoastal on a 3-5 day island camp/sail. We call this sail “The Little Bird Sailing Challenge”. We usually do this journey for a cause and this year, we decided to pick up garbage. Here is day 1 part one. I will be posting every day this week as I edit these videos. You can check every day at my YouTube channel “Accidental Sailor Girl” for more. Hope you enjoy.
