Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina, A CRUISERS NET SPONSOR, sits on the Mount Pleasant side of Charleston Harbor, hard by Patriots Point between Horse Reach flashing buoys #34 and #36.
SOUTH CAROLINA – CHARLESTON HARBOR – CHARLESTON HARBOR MARINA: Dredging
Beginning on or about June 20, 2021, and until approximately July 31, 2021, Marcol Dredging Company will be performing dredging activities in the vicinity of the Spirit Cruise Lines terminal (32-47-25.98N / 79-54-33.00W) and the Charleston Harbor Marina (32-47-12.87N / 79-54-33.73W) located on the Charleston Harbor in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Marcol Dredging Company will be pumping dredged sediments, via pipeline, to the Upland Confined Disposal Facility located on the south end of Daniel Island, South Carolina. During this period of time, all vessels operating in the vicinity of the project sites are requested to keep a sharp lookout for pipeline and dredging activities and operate at a safe speed.
