This ICW shoaling is just west of the GIWW’s intersection with the Okeechobee Waterway terminus.

FLORIDA – INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY – ST. LUCIE INLET TO FORT MYERS AND LAKE OKEECHOBEE – ST LUCIE RIVER: Shoaling reported.
Shoaling has been reported in St Lucie River Florida. Water depths in the vicinity of St Lucie River Daybeacon 8 (LLNR 50710 ), St Lucie River Daybeacon 8A (LLNR 50712), and St Lucie River Daybeacon 10 (LLNR 50715) have been reported as low as 1 foot and encroaching the channel. The Coast Guard has removed the dayboards from St Lucie River Daybeacon 8A (LLNR 50712) and replaced them with Danger Shoal Dayboards. Lighted Buoy (TRLB) “8A” has been set channelward of “Danger Shoal” daybeacon in approximently 4 feet of water with a quick flashing red light.
