This dredge project is part of the efforts of Panama City to rebuild following hurricane damage.

FL – PANAMA CITY HARBOR – Dredge Operation
Continuing until approximately November 30, 2020, Dredge E. STROUD will be conducting dredging operations in the Panama City Harbor in Panama City, Florida. Dredging will be performed in the Terminal Channel and Entrance Channel. The dredged material from the Terminal Channel will be disposed into existing open water sites and dredged material from the Entrance Channel will be placed onto the beach of St. Andrews Park, located west of the channel. The dredge will utilize floating and submerged pipeline, in addition to a number of support vessels. All vessels will be lighted in accordance to U.S. Coast Guard Safety Regulations. The dredge plant can be contacted on VHF-FM Channels 13 and 16. Mariners should exercise extreme caution when transiting this area.
