This obstruction is on the east side of the Key West Harbor Range in the vicinity of Red 24 west of the City Marina.

FLORIDA – KEY WEST HARBOR – KEY WEST MAIN CHANNEL: Submerged Obstruction / Hazard to Navigation
The U. S. Coast Guard received a report of a submerged obstruction north of Sunset Pier in Key West Harbor at an approximate depth of six feet in approximate position 24-33-42N / 81-48-25W (24°33.7000N / 081°48.4166W, 24.561667 / -81.806944) . The obstruction is currently marked with a metal pole and orange safety cone. Mariners are advised to exercise caution while transiting the area.
