This is a lengthy dredging project and requires our cooperation regarding a sharp watch and no-wake speed.
FLORIDA – PALM SHORES TO WEST PALM BEACH – LAKE WORTH INLET: Dredging operations.
Cashman Dredging and Marine Contracting Company, LLC will begin dredging operations in Lake Worth Inlet and Palm Beach Harbor on or about October 28th, 2020. The Trailing Suction Hopper Dredge ATCHAFALAYA will dredge shoaled material from Lake Worth Entrance/Palm Beach Entrance Channel before transitioning to a near shore disposal area south of the Entrance Channel. The dredge will be supported by the survey vessel SURVEY 7 and various other support vessels. All vessels will monitor VHF channels 16,13,12, and use 74 as the working channel. Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made. The dredge will operate 7 days a week, 24 hours a day until the estimated completed date of approximately December 17th, 2020. For further information, contact Sean Moriarty at (857) 939-7156.
