[EXPIRED] LNM: MSIB Search and Rescue Training, Nov 9, Charleston Harbor, SC AICW 465
This search and rescue training area borders the Waterway’s west/east southbound path through Charleston’s busy harbor. A sharp lookout and slow speed is the order of the day. Our thanks to Officer Jeromy Sherrill for this notice.
The U.S. Coast Guard Station Charleston, Air Facility Charleston, and the American Canoe Association will conduct Search and Rescue Training in the Charleston Harbor on November 09, 2018 from 8a.m. to 12p.m. The training will take place in the vicinity of Middle Ground and will include the use of visual emergency signals to include handheld flares and smoke, and simulated surface rescues with Coast Guard response boats and air assets. Training participants will monitor Channel 16.
