These two closures will affect only late evening and early morning cruisers. With a closed vertical clearnace of 31ft, Ben Sawyer Memorial – Sullivan’s Island Bridge crosses the Waterway at Statute Mile 462 north of Charleston harbor.
SOUTH CAROLINA – ICW – CHARLESTON – BEN SAWYER BRIDGE: Electrical Repairs.
The Ben Sawyer Bridge on the Intracoastal Waterway at mile marker 462 will be closed to marine traffic from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 2 and Wednesday May 3, 2017 in order to conduct required electrical repairs.
