LNM: Safety Zone, June 14-30, southwest of Pensacola Bay

This safety zone, related to unexploded ordnance, appears to be southwest of the Caucus Channel into western Pensacola Bay.

The U.S. Coast Guard COTP Mobile under the Ports and Waterways Safety Act, is establishing a Safety Zone for all waters of the Gulf of Mexico within the approximate positions 30-17-47.65N 087-21-36.5W; 30-17-47.65N 087-19-39.8W; 30-16-06.35N 087-19-39.8W; and 30-16-06.35N 087-21-36.5W, near Fort Pickens in Pensacola, FL. The Safety Zone is necessary to protect persons, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards associated with the detonation of unexploded ordnance. This Safety Zone will be enforceable from June 14, 2018 until June 30, 2018. No vessel may enter this Safety Zone without permission from the U.S. Coast Guard COTP Mobile or their designated representative.
