Arrrrghhh a little!Queen Anne’s Revenge Traveling Exhibit Open NOW ~ Explore the artifacts from the recovered Queen Anne’s Revenge, Blackbeard’s flagship, in this new exhibit. Just think, the last time these items (like cannons, flints, and spikes) were used they were in the hands of pirates! This year marks the 300th anniversary of the notorious pirate, Blackbeard’s, death. His flagship was discovered near the coast of North Carolina, and relics from that shipwreck are now crafted into an exhibit for all to see. The new Historic Bath Exhibit Hall houses the traveling exhibit through the end of May. The state historic site is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Read More |
