          Hi Bryant,
I suggest you contact Guest Services at Barefoot Landing, 843-272-8349, to inquire about availability of dock reservations.
          Good luck! Larry

Last time we will stay at Barefoot Landing Marina. In addition to no bathroom/shower facilities the WiFi is terrible and they had no ice on a day with temperatures in the 90’s.

I have stayed there and at Barefoot Landing by the outlet stores. Face dock every time. I’ve never had a problem with wakes, it’s a no wake zone. If jet skis bother you, travel from here to Little River in winter or heavy rain. The ICW here is polluted with them [jet skis] and for most of the operators, this is the first time they have ever driven a boat.

We are here now (08/20/2011). We’ve been here three days and are leaving tomorrow. Friendly staff and easy dockage. The costs go down the longer you stay. Ice is available.

Plenty of restaurants and “beach” type stores within walking distance. The restrooms are public, but clean.

Just keep in mind, it’s a “dock”, not a “marina. No pool, no showers, no captain’s lounge, etc.

Would I recommend it? Yes, I would.

Just a quick note to say good spot, many restaurants and shops, very helpful dockmaster BUT at present no showers. Restrooms yes, showers no. Wanted to correct the listing. Leigh on Raconteur.

Arrived here about 1500 and were greeted by Mark the Dockmaster. He expertly helped us tie up our dock lines and adjust fenders. Price is $1.50 per foot and that includes electric and WiFi which makes it a great deal. The welcome pack includes info on the shopping area and a great discount coupon to T-Bones. The docks are in great shape and very easy to approach from the waterway.
