      Temperature

Temperatures remain favorable for autumn sailing, with a noticeable warming as you travel south:

      • Northernmost Gulf: Air temperatures (red contours) average near 20°C (68°F) along the coastal waters, with sea surface temperatures (green contours) around 22-24°C (72-75°F).
      • Southern Gulf & Yucatan Channel: Air temperatures are warmer at a balmy 25-26°C (77-79°F), accompanied by sea surface temperatures of 26-27°C (79-81°F).
