As a bon voyage appreciation party to cruisers having taken advantage of the Albemarle Loop Snowbird Layover offer, Osprey Yacht Club is hosting a Pig Roast at Albemarle Plantation. Albemarle Loop and Albemarle Plantation are both CRUISERS NET SPONSORS.
One Last Party

Boaters enjoying visits to the towns on the Albemarle Sound and taking advantage of Albemarle Loop’s Snowbird Layover program can party one last time before heading south for the winter, as Albemarle Plantation’s Osprey Yacht Club (OYC) and the Albemarle Loop are hosting a “going-away” feast on November 1.
To start things off at 5:00 p.m., there will be a one-hour guided Kayak Sunset Trip on scenic Yeopim Creek. At 6:00 p.m. partygoers will gather at Marina Park for a Pig Roast hosted by the OYC and the Albemarle Loop. Dinner will be cooked and served by the Sons of the American Legion and will feature music by Lee Howard until 8:30 p.m.
Throughout the evening owners of boats at the marina will illuminate their crafts for the visual enjoyment of the diners.
