Lat/Lon: 35 27.860 North/076 32.760 West
Location: the entrance to Slade Creek cuts Pungo River’s eastern shoreline, southeast of AICW/Pungo River marker #5; anchorage is found on the mid-line of the straight stretch northeast of Church Creek
Minimum Depth: 7 feet if and only if you can follow the unmarked entrance channel; a GPS chartplotter is NECESSARY for safe entrance into Slade Creek
Swing Room: sufficient room for vessels as large as 34 feet
Foul Weather Shelter: Good, only very fresh southwesterly winds should be a problemRating:
