Mariners and boaters should excercise caution this weekend in the northern and western Gulf. A cold front is forecast to enter the northwest Gulf Friday afternoon or evening, and reach from southwest Florida to the central Bay of Campeche by late Saturday. Fresh to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will follow the front, with near gale to gale force winds likely over the west- central Gulf by Saturday morning, and over the SW Gulf by late Saturday.
