    • [EXPIRED] Volunteers Needed for Abandoned Vessel Removal, 8-11 am, Sept 20 and 21

Wounded Nature-Working Veterans is a group of veterans, non-veterans and active duty military personnel run by Captain Rudy Socha, a former Marine turned conservationist. The non-profit volunteer organization is working to cleanup, preserve and protect our coastal environment, particularly from derelict vessels. See “Doing Something about It.”

Next Saturday, Sept 20 and Sunday, Sept 21 we can use all the volunteers we can get to help us dispose of abandoned boats. We will need people to just pick up screws and nails in the parking lot. So even if you cannot or do not want to use a power tool, please show up to help us. We will be at Dolphin Cove Marina from 8-11 am both days.

Help us tear apart some boats this weekend.  On Saturday, Sept 21 and Sunday, Sept 22 we will be demolishing boats at Dolphin Cove Marina from 8 – 11 am each day.  Bring gloves, if you have a sawzall bring that as well.

Can’t make it but want to help, you can donate online to help cover our costs at: http://woundednature.org/support-us/become-a-member/
