Original Gulfport Walking Tour: 8/20
The next historic walking tour is Thursday, August 20 at 5:30 PM and starts at the Gulfport History Museum.
Join Gulfport Arts & Heritage on a stroll through history in the heart of Gulfport. The tour lasts for approximately 1.5 hours.
$15 for non-members, free for GAH members. Registration is required. The museum reopens for check-ins at 5:00 PM.
It’s Gecko Month, and Gulfport Arts & Heritage is celebrating all things Gulfport by hosting a Gulfport Trivia Night!
Grab your friends to form teams and prepare to test your knowledge of history, culture, geography, and personalities. Fun times and fabulous prizes ahead.

August 2026 Art Workshops
All workshops listed are FREE and all materials are provided!
Registration by email or phone is REQUIRED in order to participate in adult workshops as space is limited. Registration for kids workshops is encouraged, but not required, otherwise space is first-come-first-serve.
Cutout Collages – Adult Workshop TUESDAY, 8/11 @12:30pm-2:15pm Join us for a fun collage exercise in which individual pieces are arranged side- by-side on a plain background. These collages can be scanned, copied, and shared with others to cut out of.
Gelli Plate Printmaking with Acrylic – Adult Workshop FRIDAY, 8/14 @2:30pm-4:15pm Try your hand at building layered Gelli prints using stencils, acrylic paint, and textured materials. *Slightly more intermediate but beginner’s are welcome.
Tissue Paper Bleed Art – Kids Workshop FRIDAY, 8/21 @5pm-6:15pm TUESDAY, 8/25 @12:30pm-1:45pm Kids will wet tissue paper shapes and apply them to canvas. When it’s dry, the tissue paper is peeled off to reveal vibrant bleeding colors!
Mini Mermaid Mirrors – Adult Workshop FRIDAY, 8/28 @5pm-6:45pm Craft a decorative mini mirror with shiny trinkets and coastal ephemera, fit for a beautiful siren.

BIMONTHLY, EVERY 1st & 3rd SATURDAY @3pm-5pm

Join us for an afternoon of collage-making with all materials provided, completely FREE! Bring your own ephemera to share or swap with others and get to know like-minded creatives in a laid-back atmosphere.

OPEN STUDIO HOURS
Anyone 13+ can use our studio space to work on their own personal art projects during open hours. Studio space is provided on a first-come-first-serve-basis, reservations are prohibited. Artists must bring their own supplies.
